About & methodology
SEC filings in, tables out — every number traceable to a regulatory source.
What this site is
A free screener of US money-market fund 7-day yields. Every number is parsed from the SEC's monthly Form N-MFP structured datasets (Division of Economic and Risk Analysis) — the regulatory filings every registered money-market fund must submit within five business days after each month-end. Currently showing the June 2026 month-end filings (1068 share classes across 325 fund series).
Sources
- SEC DERA Form N-MFP data sets — monthly ZIPs of TSV tables; this month's file is 20260608-20260708_nmfp.zip. Public domain.
- SEC EDGAR fund-ticker registry (company_tickers_mf.json) — maps EDGAR class IDs to trading symbols. The N-MFP tables carry no ticker column, so classes absent from the registry show no ticker here.
Methodology
- We take the latest DERA ZIP, keep the report month most filings cover, and keep only each series' most recent filing (amendments supersede originals).
- The 7-day net yield is class-level and reported daily within the filing; we show each class's latest reported day, which is the month-end date for nearly all funds. The 7-day gross yield is series-level.
- Yields are shown as filed, rounded to two decimals. Missing values render as “—”, never zero.
- Build fails rather than publishing if the dataset parses under 500 classes or more than 20% of classes lack a yield.
What this site does not do
- No live quotes. These are month-end regulatory filings; 7-day yields move daily. Each fund page links to the fund company and to the underlying EDGAR filings for current figures.
- No advice. No recommendations, rankings-as-advice, or predictions — yield ranks here are arithmetic, not endorsements. Funds differ in tax treatment, minimums, and access; consult the prospectus.
- No affiliation with the SEC or any fund company.
